Cotopaxi Pre-Loved is our official resale platform where you can buy and sell gently used gear. Our goal is to extend the lifecycle of our products and keep high-quality outdoor equipment out of landfills.
How do you verify the quality of used items?
Every item listed on our Pre-Loved site undergoes a rigorous inspection process. We categorize products based on their condition—ranging from 'Like New' to 'Gently Used'—so you know exactly what to expect.
What is your return policy for Pre-Loved gear?
To maintain the sustainability of our resale program, all Pre-Loved purchases are final sale. However, if an item arrives significantly different than described, please contact our support team within 48 hours.
How long does shipping take for used items?
Standard shipping typically takes 5-7 business days. Please note that Pre-Loved items may ship from different locations than new inventory, which can occasionally affect delivery timelines.
Can I use Cotopaxi gift cards or discount codes on Pre-Loved items?
Currently, store credit and gift cards issued specifically for our Pre-Loved platform can be used. Promotional codes for our main retail site are generally not applicable to the resale collection.
Are Pre-Loved items covered under the 'Gear for Good' warranty?
While our Pre-Loved items are built to last, they do not carry the same lifetime warranty as brand-new products. We do, however, ensure they meet our high standards for durability and functionality at the time of sale.
